Personal goal setting: Are you up to the challenge?

Being focused, productive and in control at work is far more achievable when you feel in control of all elements of your life. Although there will always be those things you cannot plan for or control, it is important to take charge where you can. Having challenging yet achievable goals gives direction, motivation and, when achieved, a sense of accomplishment and self-worth – not to mention other potentially tangible benefits.

Gain expert tips on setting goals that are specific, measurable, realistic and time-bound. Then see how you can turn your goals into plans and take action on them. This session will help you develop the self-awareness necessary to know what you want and cultivate the skills to get it.

Effectively managing stress at work

In a job where you often have to be all things to all people, fatigue, stress, and burnout are all potential occupational hazards that you need to be aware of. In order to mitigate the impact of your working environment, and to support your colleagues, it is essential that you learn to recognise the many facets of stress and learn how you can help alleviate it.

Examine common workplace scenarios which create stress – from heavy workloads to conflict, bullying and harassment. Learn practical strategies to effectively combat these scenarios and better manage both your stress and that of those around you.

Workably improving your personal health and wellbeing

As a PA or EA the essence of your role is to take care of other people. But in order to do this effectively, it is essential that you remain on top form and make maximising your own health and wellbeing a priority.

While most of us know what we should be doing to keep ourselves fit and well, the challenge is often in making it a priority and practical in a work environment. This session will equip you with strategies to overcome the limitations set by your working environment to give your wellbeing the attention it deserves.
